1. “Business is an institution which produces goods and services demanded by people”. It means business is an institution that produce goods and services needed by society. If the demand is increased, the producer also will increase production."

Ang sabi naman nina Griffin and Ebert,
2. “Business is an organization that provides goods or services in order to earn profit”. With this definition, business activity through the provision of goods and services aim to generate profit. A institution is produce profit when “total revenues” in a period is higher than the “total cost” in the same period. Profit is the main feature of business activity, so that the  profit can be expand."

Ang sabi naman nina Musselman and Jackson,
3. ”An activity that meets the needs and desires of the community economic and organized a company to engage in such activities.”

Sabi naman ni Stenford,

4. “Business is all those activities involved in providing the goods and services needed or desired by people”. It  means a business activities called that activities ,which provide goods or services required and desired by persons of our society ."

 Meron ding mga kahulugan ng negosyo na makikita natin sa dictionaries at mga kilalang mga books..

So sa madaling salita ang Negosyo ay ang pagpoprovide ng goods o serbisyo na sumasagot sa pangangailangan at mga naisin ng mga tao at kapalit nito ay may kabayaran na pera.

                       

Halimbawa ay ang mga nagtitinda ng bigas. Sila ang nag susupply sa mga tao ng pangangailangan nila sa araw araw.

Halimbawa naman ng mga naisin ng tao ay ang mga alahas, gadgets, pabango, at marami pang iba.

Kung gusto mong magsimula ng sarili mong negosyo e dapat mong ikonsidera ang pangangailangan o mga naisin ng target market mo.
