The knock-out punch is always the one you never see coming. "~ Aimee Mann

Totoo naman diba? Most of the time, the things that knocks us down are the things we do not expect. One of my saddest moments in my life happened When Manny Pacquiao got knocked down in His fight with Juan Manuel Marquez. I was so sure he could beat Marquez one last round but to my surprise Pacquiao got hit by startling blow.

Nakakalungkot diba?  In life, we will get hit by unpredictable circumstances. Maybe hindi mo ineexpect na magkakahiwalay ang parents mo or you were expecting makakagraduate ka sa school and then something happened, or you were pretty sure na ok kayo ni boyfriend and then one day he cheated on you. Boom! Parang right upper cut. Well, We really can not control things. Ang masakit pa e yung mga  taong nakapaligid sayo e nagiging experts and they will all agree at your flaws and wrong decisions. Instead of getting the comfort, you get discouragement. Why ganun? But the question is what do you do When you hit the ground? What do you do When life hits you unexpectedly and you got knocked down? What is going to be your attitude When you are down? Certainly, you will have the hype and courage to fight again When you are at a winning streak, but what if you are in a losers lounge? Apostle Paul once said in
2 Corinthians 4:8-9

We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed and broken. We are perplexed, but we do not give up and quit. We are hunted down, but God never abandons us. We get knocked down, but we get up again and keep going.
Wow! Kahit anong mangyare, God will never abandon us. Our attitude Should be like this, " I got knocked down but I will get up ". Even if it seems like its finished and we feel like we can not fight anymore God says do not give up. He is saying "get up again and keep going". Do not lose heart. Cheer up! Remember in God we are always on the winning side. Our past does not define failure and heartaches us rather it teaches us to be strong. As a love song puts it "You made me stronger by breaking my heart". Hold on to God and He will give the strength that you need.

Host: What is your message to your fans right now who are saddened by your loss? Who are crying in your defeat?
MP: It's ok to cry for as long as They are happy tears * smiles *. There's no problem with me because I believe my fate is in the hands of God. All these: fame, fortune, championships, are just material things. In heaven there's no boxing champion or fame, we are all equals there. It's your faith and relationship with God that is important. Should it be strengthened in the good times and in the bad. My faith did not dwindle one tiny bit. As a matter of fact, it strengthened Because of my defeat.

Host: Are you asking or blaming yourself or anyone about the events that happened?

MP: That's sports. That's boxing. You lose some, you win some. What is important is you wholeheartedly accept your defeat in the same way that you bask in your victories. I am at peace with my loss.

Host: So what is next for Manny Pacquiao in the field of boxing?

MP: * answers * Fight again quickly! * Chuckles *
